Lynn Mayes

Lynn Mayes received her B.F.A. from Vanderbilt University and has studied at the Art Students League in New York City and the Art School of the Aegean in Samos, Greece. She has appeared in solo and group shows in the southeast and is represented by Bobbe Gillis Gallery in Atlanta, Taylor Kinzel Gallery in Roswell, Georgia, and Slaymaker Fine Art Ltd in Chicago. 

"My work is created with layers of oil glazes alternated with mixed media on a textured ground. The images have a life of their own and the canvas becomes their resting place."
